We understand choosing a DJ for your important event can be a tough decision to make, So here we tried to answer a few frequently asked questions that we usually get from our customers!

 

What Happens After I Contact You?

After you get in touch with us, we will ask you a few questions to better understand

  • your music taste

  • venue size and the number of guests

  • the lighting package you'd prefer

  • any event specific arrangements

After that we will stay in touch and sync up with you at least twice before the event to make sure everything is going on as planned. 

We will arrive between one to two hours earlier on the day of event to setup the sound and lighting equipment.

What Areas Do You Serve?

We offer our Persian DJ services to entire Southern California. From San Fernando Valley, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Glendale and Downtown Los Angeles all the way down to Irvine, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach and San Diego.​

Do You Offer MC Services As Well?

Yes he does! Pooya is all about hyping up the guests and making sure everyone is having a good time!

Can We Meet in Person to Discuss About the Event?

Absolutely! We'd prefer having a chat with our clients in person before the event to get to know as much as we need about your event, guests and personal preferences.

Are You Open for Business During the Covid-19 Pandemic?

Yes we are!
We make sure to follow CDC's guidelines in order to provide a safe experience for your and your guests.

When Do You Arrive To Setup For My Event?

We always arrive on-site at least an hour and a half prior to the communicated start time of the event, and earlier as necessitated by the setup requirements of your event. Overtime charges for early setup are rare, and we would always discuss that with you in advance if necessary.

Can I Provide You a List of Songs I'd Like to Be Played?

Absolutely!


You can provide up to 10 special songs if you have chosen the Starter package,
20 if you selected the Premium package
and unlimited number of special songs if you selected the Ultimate package.

How Much Room Will You Need? Do I Need to Provide a Table?

Our DJ system is versatile enough for any space, large or small. Your DJ will need a 6’ or 8’ banquet table and minimal room for the speakers and lights. Most event sites will provide a skirted table for the DJ at no charge. Alternatively We can provider a portable table (please communicate this with us prior to the event if your venue doesn't have any space/tables that could be used for our DJ setup).

Do You Offer Lighting?

Yes, we can provide all types of lighting, including  dance floor and decor lighting.

Do You Mix the Music Yourself?

Yes!  Most DJs essentially do the same thing - spin records and entertain a crowd - but it's how we do it that makes the difference. In addition to reading the crowd and appropriate song selection, the fundamental skill of a great DJ is being able to mix, blend and transition different songs and genres together.
DJ Pooya has the skill set and experience to seamlessly mix all different types of music together to create exciting live remixes and transitions that we will keep the energy on the dance floor, so the beat never drops.

What Type of Event Do You Specialize In?

We specialize in Persian weddings, social and club events. Some typical social events we do include, but are not limited to: birthday parties, traditional events, cultural events, graduation parties, holiday parties and festivals.  We can perform for any type of occasion. We have the music, the equipment, and most importantly, the experience to perform for any type of event and any type of crowd.

What's Your Cancellation Policy?

Free Cancellation within 24 hours after the booking.
50% Cancellation fee if cancelled 72 hours before the day of event.

No refunds if cancelled less than 72 hours before the day of event.
