Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take song requests?
Yes. You can use my Music Planning tool to select the special songs for your Indian event. Additionally, you can provide a Spotify/Youtube playlist which I will include it in the DJ set.
Do you offer live musicians/band?
Yes! I offer live Dohol, Percussionists, Violinists and Saxophonists for your Indian event.
What's your booking process like?
After you've selected a package, I will send you a doc-sign agreement. As soon as you sign that document or send the deposit, I'll secure the date for your event, whichever comes first.
My venue requires insurance, do you offer it?
Yes, I offer insurance coverage up to 2 million dollars, which covers (almost) all venue's requirements.
Can you DJ multicultural events?
Yes, I have extensive experience DJing multicultural events, including Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Afghan, American, Persian, Latin, and others.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Yes, I carry backup equipment for all events to ensure that everything runs smoothly without any technical interruptions.
How do you handle situations where you can't make it to an event?
While it's never happened, and I hope it never does (knock on wood!), in the unlikely event that I cannot make it to an event, I will arrange for a backup DJ from my network of experienced DJs.
Are you open to traveling?
Yes, I do travel worldwide for destination Indian weddings.
What's your MCing style like?
High energy and polite! I aim to engage the audience with enthusiasm while maintaining a courteous and respectful tone throughout the event.
When do you generally arrive to set up at the venue?
I generally arrive at the venue for setup roughly 2-3 hours before the event begins.
Who are your go-to Indian artists for great music?
Icons like Udit Narayan and Kishore Kumar hold a special place in my heart, while current stars like Neha Kakkar and Mika Singh bring a unique energy that’s perfect for celebrations.
Can we choose the cocktail hour / dinner playlist?
Absolutely! You have the option to provide separate Spotify playlists for these portions of the event, and I’ll gladly incorporate them!

4 Suggestions For a Perfect Indian Wedding!
Prepare a detailed timeline of all special songs, including their timestamps, and provide it to your DJ in advance for seamless integration and flow of the night.
Position the DJ booth adjacent to the dance floor to foster better interaction with guests and keep the energy alive during the dancing portion of the event.
Make sure the MC knows the exact timing of key moments, such as speeches, cake cutting, first dances, etc, so he can inform the guests at the right time.
Create a balanced playlist featuring your favorite songs alongside selections that cater to your guests' diverse ages, cultural backgrounds, and musical tastes.
